My Trip to This Year's Chelsea Flower Show

I recently had the chance to visit this year's Chelsea Flower Show. The theme for 2025 was "informal planting", which came through nicely in many of this year's 31 gardens.

The garden that most caught my eye was Monty Don's Dog Garden. It had a rustic, traditional English feel to it, a style that is quite popular right now. I also enjoyed the Japanese Tea Garden by Cha No Niwa, because of its water feature and precise planting. It had a clam feel, and reflected the tranquility and neatness of traditional Japanese gardening.

In the Great Pavilion was the new King's Rose, bred by grower Dave Austin, in tribute to King Charles III. This new rose had been developed for over 10 years now and was shown for the first time at this year's show.

Overall, it was a good day out, seeing the different garden ideas and styles. Below are some photos I took that I wanted to share.
